ABOUT STREAMIENT · A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER

We already learned this.
Why start over?

I’m Nitai. I built Streamient because I could not stop seeing the same waste: useful knowledge scattered everywhere, while people and AI kept asking the same questions. Once you see what changes when that knowledge comes together, it is hard to stop talking about it.

The knowledge is there. That’s what makes it frustrating.

Someone already solved the problem. Someone already explained the customer’s situation. We already made the decision and had good reasons for it. But the answer is in an old chat, a saved link, an email, or the head of the one person who is not around today.

So we search. We interrupt someone. We explain it again. Or we make a new decision without knowing why the last one was made.

Then we bring AI into the picture. A remarkably capable tool, and we spend the first part of every conversation catching it up. Here is the project. Here are the rules. Here is what we tried. Switch tools or start a new session, and we are doing it again.

That is the part I find almost impossible to leave alone. We worked for that knowledge. Why do we keep paying for it with our time?

One place to learn from. For people and AI.

Streamient is my answer: shared, inspectable AI memory. A place to bring notes, decisions, links, emails and project context together, so your team and connected AI tools can find and reuse what you already know.

Picture a bug you finally understand. Save the cause and the fix. The next person investigating it has a starting point. A connected AI assistant can retrieve the same lesson. When the solution changes, you can correct the record instead of leaving another contradictory answer buried in a conversation.

Or take a product decision. Keep the reasoning with it. When someone asks “why did we do it this way?”, there is something to read, question and build on. You keep the thinking, not just the outcome.

This is the bit I want everyone to see.

You do not need to start by moving everything. Save one decision you are tired of explaining. One procedure people keep asking for. One lesson you do not want your AI to miss next time.

Then use it again. That is the moment I want people to experience: the answer is there, the context comes with it, and you can get on with the work. Imagine making that a habit across a team.

It is why I get so animated about Streamient. There is so much useful thinking in our daily work, and so little of it needs to be lost. Every record we keep useful is a little less ground to cover again.

You should be able to see what your AI remembers.

Shared memory needs care. Information gets old. Decisions change. AI can get things wrong. I want people to be able to inspect the records, fix them, and decide what belongs there. Keeping knowledge useful is part of the work.

That is why Streamient is open source and can be self-hosted. Your knowledge should remain yours to understand and control. Through MCP, compatible AI tools can work with that shared memory instead of each conversation becoming another isolated pocket of context.

You can explore how shared AI memory works, find apps and integrations, or read about running Streamient yourself.

I’m building Streamient with the Helpmonks Labs team, and we use it in our own work. You may have known it as Kumbukum. The name changed; the idea stayed: make what we learn available to the people and tools that need it next.

More from me ↗

One shared memory. Useful all day.

This is where it becomes real for me. The knowledge you keep in Streamient can help with the next email, the next support question, and the next AI conversation.

Email replies with context

A customer asks how something works. Your reply should draw on your product knowledge, policies and previous lessons. That is how we use Streamient with Mailtwine and Helpmonks: bring relevant knowledge into the reply workflow, so you spend less time gathering background before reviewing a draft.

Support grounded in your knowledge

Connect a support AI to the knowledge it should use: the right product, the relevant instructions, the policy your team maintains. It can retrieve specific information before answering. Give it a documented answer to work from, and a clear reason to ask for help when the information is missing.

Change models. Keep the context.

You prefer one AI client. A teammate prefers another. Tomorrow you want to try a different model. Connect compatible tools to the same Streamient knowledge, with the appropriate access, and each can retrieve the same decisions, terminology and project history. Their answers may differ; the shared background does not have to.

That is the benefit I keep coming back to: maintain the knowledge once, then make it useful wherever your team works. Choosing a new AI tool should not mean explaining your business from scratch.

What I want us to get right.

Your data, your machine

Self-host the whole thing. Open source. Bring your own AI keys. Nothing about your knowledge has to leave your control.

Memory that compounds

Maintained decisions, procedures, and lessons remain useful across sessions and tools instead of disappearing into chat history.

Plain English, not plumbing

You should be able to read the records your AI retrieves, correct outdated information, and keep the source useful for everyone who relies on it.
